Norvestia Oyj is the biggest publicly listed investment company in Finland. Investing through Norvestia doesn’t occur by buying investment services, as it often does when investing through banks and fund management companies, but by buying Norvestia’s shares directly, on the Helsinki stock exchange. Norvestia doesn't sell any products, its only aim being to gain the best possible return on its investment capital, and for its owners. This way, investors can be sure that Norvestia’s interests always match their own. Transparency is further increased by the rules of openness and reporting applicable to publicly listed companies.

Norvestia is known as a good dividend payer, and aims at a strong and steady risk-adjusted return whatever the market conditions. As Norvestia is a joint stock company, returns are divided evenly according to the assets invested by each investor.  

By acquiring Norvestia’s shares the investor can participate in a wide range of investments without sacrificing time or effort. Norvestia mainly invests in Nordic shares, equity funds, hedge funds, in the money market and in other securities. The emphasis on different investments is adjusted according to the prevailing market conditions. Many of these investment targets would otherwise be beyond the small-scale investor’s reach. Investments are also made in interesting Nordic growth companies that have strong competitive opportunities in domestic markets, and the potential to capitalize on their service development innovations internationally.
